Nail Art Tutorial: Simple Flower Design

Hello my pretties :)

Hope you all had a great weekend! As promised, here's my step-by-step tutorial on a simple flower nail art design :) I took inspiration for this from my Twitter background lol!

First and foremost you want to grab yourself some dotting tools.

This set was sent to me by Born Pretty Store. Not only are they fantastic quality but they're pink and double ended. Awesome stuff :D

Next you want to paint your nail with a protective base coat and then a nice bright Barbie pink! For my base coat I used OPI Nail Envy followed by Seche Clear and then painted three coats of Barry M 279 Bright Pink.

Now you want to grab a medium sized dotting tool and an opaque black nail polish. I used Illasmaqua Boosh.

Blob a small amount of the polish on a scrap piece of paper and pick it up on the tool and dot five blobs on each nail in a circular pattern like this:

I was able to fit two lots on my thumb nails :)

Next take a small sized dotting tool. This isn't the smallest one in the set but it's smaller than the one I used before!

Take a white nail polish and using the same method as before put dots in the centre of the circular patterns you first created. I used Barry M 66 Matt White.

Now you can leave it like this if you want. Just add a top coat one everything is completely dry.

I decided to add some "vines" with my Milani Nail Art Polish in 703 Black Sketch.

I just finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite :)

What do you guys think? Even a cack-handed person like me managed to replicate the pattern on my right hand :D

I'll be doing a tutorial for the stamping kit I featured here but I'm waiting for a day when Ant's about to help me take the photos! Lol!
