FOTD: Affordable Autumnal Eye Look

Hello my lovelies :)

This weekend has been pretty much ruined by the weather :( Stupid rain, doesn't it know it's August!!

Saturday evening Ant and I were supposed to be watching a Hitchcock double bill at an outside cinema on a lake as part of a local festival. We managed to watch The Birds but had to leave after that because we were just soaked through :( Missed out on seeing Psycho on the big screen, sad times :( Sunday evening we meant to have a BBQ at a friend's house. Despite the weather the BBQ did happen ;) Hurrah!! I decided given the weather I'd sport an autumnal look and decided to pull out some affordable products to create it. Here's the look I came up with:

You can see the sparkles in this one :)

EYES
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Maybelline Eyestudio Diamond Glow Bronze Drama
MUA Pearl Eyeshadow No. 14 to line lower lashline and in outer v
L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss with MUA Pearl Eyeshadow No. 14 pressed on top
L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black
L'Oreal Waterproof Telescopic Mascara in Black

Here's the rest of my silly mug!

FACE
GOSH Velvet Touch Line Perfector
Maxfactor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation in Creamy Ivory
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
CARGO Tonga Blush

LIPS
MAC Dervish Lip Pencil
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Summer Angel
MAC Lipglass in Mouthwatering

I've been enjoying shopping my stash and pulling out little bargainous items and being really surprised with them :)

  2. @Emily: Thank you :) I rarely wear greens because I'm not entirely convinced they suit me but I'm really happy with how this look turned out :)

  3. Wow, the Maybelline shadow looks gorgeous. I'm loving those kinds of coppery gold bronze shades lately :)

  4. @SilhouetteScreams: The quality of the quad is great, just the darkest shadow is a little on the chalky side.

Please feel free to leave a comment, I read and reply to every one :)

However, please don't just leave a one word comment that bears no relation to my post just so you can shill your blog/blog sale/giveaway. It's just not cool, ya dig?
