CCO Haul

Hello my lovelies

I recently took Ant to the cinema and while we were there I was in a good mood so treated him to a nice lunch and a mooch around the shops. Whilst he was perusing the aisles in HMV looking for a bargain I was wandering around the CCO looking for a little treat for myself!

I was very restrained and only grabbed a little set that contained:

Clinique Shimmering Tones Powder in Pink Chocolate

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey and Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

In the swatch photo above you can see each of the individual colours from the powder swatched and then a light and a layered swatch of the lipstick.

I already had a tube of Black Honey, I love it so much I’m so glad I have a back up now :) I’m also pleased that I got another sample of the High Impact Mascara, it’s totally my favourite mascara but I begrudge paying the price tag for it!

The powder is lovely. It’s smooth and finely milled, shimmery without being glittery and pigmented without being scary clown makeup pigmented. I love the cute checkerboard design of the powder too. I like that I can use the colours individually one my eyes and the swirl them together with a fluffy brush for a lovely pinky bronze glow on my cheeks; I think it’s always nice to have products like these for weekends away as it saves packing space ;)
